Frequently asked questions
The most common questions about hiring our aerial platform with driver, answered briefly and factually.
The service
What do I hire at verhuur.be?
You hire a van-mounted aerial platform, always with a VCA-certified driver. You do not operate the machine yourself: our driver operates the aerial platform and works safely at height for you.
How high does the aerial platform reach?
Up to 16 metres working height. The machine is a Teupen Euro B 16 T, mounted on a Mercedes Sprinter. You find the full specifications on the specifications page.
Is a driver included?
Yes. The driver is always included and holds a VCA-VOL certificate and the IS-004 diploma for working with a truck-mounted aerial platform.
Can I hire by the day or by the week?
Both. You can hire the aerial platform with driver by the day or by the week. Request a no-obligation quote via the contact page.
What is included
What is included in the hire?
The van with aerial platform, the VCA-certified driver and the signage needed for a safe work zone. So you do not have to arrange anything yourself to work safely at height.
Do I need a diploma or certificate myself?
No. Because our driver operates the aerial platform and holds VCA-VOL and IS-004, you do not need any certificate or training yourself.
Is the aerial platform inspected?
Yes. The aerial platform is inspected periodically according to the applicable standards for work at height, so you work safely and in order.
What can I use the aerial platform for?
For work at height such as facade work, pruning, assembly, painting, placing signage and maintenance. Not sure whether the aerial platform suits your site or job? Get in touch, we are happy to help.

Which regions do you work in?
We work from Gentbrugge in the wider region around it. See the locations or ask via the contact page.
How do I book the aerial platform?
Request a no-obligation quote via the contact page. Mention the desired date, the location and the type of work, and we will send you a proposal quickly.
What are VCA and IS-004?
VCA is the safety certificate for contractors; VCA-VOL is the extended version for supervisors. IS-004 is the specific diploma for working with a truck-mounted aerial platform. More on the VCA page.
What if my location is hard to reach?
The aerial platform is on a compact Mercedes Sprinter, so it also reaches narrower spots. Discuss your location in advance via the contact page, and we will check together whether it is feasible.
